After receiving the brief we separated out into groups and started thinking about the different types of newspaper that are produced:
-Broad sheet
-Tabloid
-Middle Market Tabloid
-Free sheet
-Regional 
-Local

We also discussed the fact that newspapers often have particular political orientations and identified this as an area for research. We went on to generate all the newspapers that could be categorised in each of these types. The pictures of the spider diagrams we produced can be found below.

We also looked at the digital formats through which news is communicated and cited the typography used in both the printed and digital formats as an area for analysis and research.
