OUGD405 Studio Brief 02 Survey Results

I have decided to follow the outs of peoples fear of insects, why this occurs and what it is about them that we fear. So to start off with I created a survey to ask people.

My results have given me a lot of directions to go in. First I want to look into the two films mentioned which are Alien and the Thing, then I am going to research the structures of insects and how this might contribute to how they move which seems to be a major part of why people don't like them. It might also be productive to find some representations that are positive about insects such as nature documentaries which often find the beauty in what they are showing. I ask want to go to the natural history museum to get some good photos of the insects them selves and get to grips with what exactly causes the fear of insects.
