OUGD601 Context of Practice 03 Tutorial No. 3 And Development of Chapter 2

Tutorial Notes:

-Finished Chapter 1 looks good and the changes made since last tutorial are for the better.
- triangulation and academic sources good.
-long discussion of practical outcome and how it could originate from practical exploration.
-Talk of choosing a way to represent the ideas in each chapter in chalkboard format using diagrams or lettering.
-look at integrating the critical journal of a chalkboarding experience (find out sourcing methods).

Development of Chapter 2:

In preparation for this tutorial I got chapter two well under way. Because I am dividing craft theory in a way that it, as far as my research can say has never really been done before, I have to approach my planning and writing in more of a general way. Rather than being able to say that one particular text is relevant to one particular chapter, on text might have several pars relevant to each chapter. So, my approach so far it to colour code all quote and information to each chapter as I find them. This means a gradual start to writing but once I have everything, I will be able to speed through the actual writing.
A large amount of time at this stage is spent sorting out the referencing system, I have included the section of additional sources that I have added for this chapter as I continue to read.

Because I am writing about specific aspects of chalk boarding and the artists that do it I also brought together a number of image references with figure numbers and full image references under the Harvard system.

I also needed to bring in my interview with Phylecia Sutherland as an Appendix, so that I could reference it fully as an interview in tis chapter.

My current Bibliography is shown in full below. nat alphabetised but a working draft.
